A treasure to celebrate Yul Brynner’s prolific photography

In homage to her late father, Victoria Brynner created the book ‘Yul Brynner: A Photographic Journey’. Yul Brynner, who the world remembers for his career on the silver screen, was also a prolific photographer.

Hand in hand with Karl Lagerfeld and Steidl this unique 4 volume anthology was first launched in NYC at the Lehman Maupin Gallery and has had international traveling shows since. The book is now a collectors item and Yul Brynner photography is available upon demand in limited editions.

Production and Marketing by Stardust Brands

For this special project, Stardust Brands worked on assembling over 200 images from an archive that included a body of work that was over 30 years old. The agency also handled all press and promotional activities, including exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York and Paris, which spotlighted additional behind-the-scenes imagery. This was a highly personal project for Victoria, an accomplished photographer herself and it also showcased her ability to reinterpret historical imagery for new generations.

The book’s publishing partners include Karl Lagerfeld and Steidl.
