Louis Vuitton: The Art of Travel

Vuitton

The birth of a legendary campaign

When Stardust was hired by Louis Vuitton to help create its ‘Art of Travel’ campaign in 2007, history was made. The brand’s aim for this campaign was to express its passion for travel and create imagery about intimate, personal journeys – not mere products.

To bring this vision to life, founder Victoria Brynner secured some of the world’s most recognised faces, from the worlds of film, sport and politics: celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz captures Mikhail Gorbachev musing in the backseat of his car, and Catherine Deneuve arriving into her destination at a train station. Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf also imparted a moment of personal intimacy for the campaign, a scene rarely depicted in the world of advertising.

By securing these iconic figures, Stardust Brands was able to help long term luxury brand partners such as Louis Vuitton, to evolve their reputation beyond their products and establish themselves as cultural arbiters.
