About Victoria

Victoria Brynner is the founder and president of Stardust Brands, a consultancy that connects fashion and luxury brands with creative talent. Over the last 25 years, Victoria has masterfully worked behind the scenes casting global icons and Hollywood talent in iconic advertising campaigns for clients including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Versace and Lancôme.

Bringing Depp to Dior for Sauvage is one of her most recent creative coups. She brought Lady Gaga’s fragrance for Coty, LADY GAGA FAME, to life producing the film and print campaigns that led to the biggest fragrance launch in Coty’s history.

In 2007, she led Louis Vuitton to Gorbachev, Deneuve and Agassi & Graf to star in the brand’s legendary ad campaign. Her early work for H&M prior to its launch in the U.S. featured Gary Oldman, Chloe Sevigny, Tim Roth, Benecio Del Toro and Johnny Depp.

Born into the worlds of film and fashion, Victoria’s international upbringing and experience working with creative visionaries including Karl Lagerfeld, Donatella Versace, Carine Roitfeld, Annie Leibovitz, Steven Meisel and Lori Goldstein, impart a unique sensibility to her work.

Victoria grew up in Switzerland with a Russian father, legendary actor Yul Brynner and Chilean mother, a fixture in the fashion industry. She began her career as a photojournalist in Paris for news agency Gamma and then moved to Los Angeles to serve as the first U.S. Editor for Italian magazines Moda and King, before founding Stardust Brands.

Victoria inherited her father’s flair for photography and passion for capturing a moment. She introduced the world to Yul Brynner, the photographer, on the 25th anniversary of his death in her book Yul Brynner: A Photographic Journey (Steidl, 2010).

Victoria lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. As an Ambassador to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, she carries on the legacy of her godmother, to help keep the issue of HIV/AIDS top-of-mind for the public.
